I do like a good story ‘ From rags to riches ‘.
Well not quite rags in this one.

I have used ‘ Astonish’ products for many years when cleaning the hob and cookertop.
However until today I hadn’t realised that all the products are made locally in Bradford.
The company employs over 90 people with a turnover of £60m, and have over 60 different products. Led by owner - manager Howard Moss.
Started by his father, Alan Moss, who bought the franchise of a cleaning company he used to work for when the owner retired.
In the 1970s along with a work mate the started with a secondhand mixing tank from a scrap merchant, and after several failed attempts they finally got it right.

None of their products are tested on animals, and it is the only cleaning brand that is officially accredited with the Vegan Society.
