Red hot.

These Red Hot Pokers certainly brighten up a very dull day. We have never had so many on this one plant.
Such a change from yesterday. Not raining but just miserable and never proper daylight.

Farm shopping, then a little gardening. Picked a pound of runner beans. Pulled up the peas which haven’t done much this year. Last year we had a bumper crop.
That’s gardening for you. Never two years the same.

They do say tomorrow we are going to have a fine sunny day.

We were very sorry to hear of the death of Sir Michael Parkinson.
Some wonderful tributes have been paid to this true Yorkshireman. A very genuine person Always 100% himself. He interviewed over 2000 guests over 4 decades. ‘ The King of Chat Shows’.
