With a friend we visited the Suffolk Punch Trust today and were delighted to see the newest arrival, a six week old filly foal as yet unnamed.    Foals this year are having names beginning with the letter K, the trust is running a competition to name the new foal so we paid our £1 and put forward our suggestions.
Luna was a bit reluctant to go between the paddocks since she got an electric shock from touching an electrified wire fence last time we were there, but after a while she relaxed and enjoyed lots of fuss from other visitors.
We enjoyed a lovely lunch sitting outside in the shade, it was 25 degrees again today.    Before we left I picked up a form to adopt Colony Edith for another year..
