Football is back and the MRI gets done

Got to bed late last night and then got up early this morning to watch Liverpool beat Ipswich 2-0 in the early game. Why Liverpool constantly play the early game is beyond me. Actually, it isn’t. Whenever there is a “tricky” away fixture – Brentford, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Ipswich – Liverpool will play the early game. It is designed to trip them up. TV companies have an unbelievable amount of control over the times of games and it depends which teams the schedulers follow. Tricky games will trip up good teams occasionally – and that is what makes good viewing. Football is screwed.

After that, I did a couple of hours work while Mrs. Ottawacker took Ottawacker Jr. to Costco to look for a new bag. Then we went out ourselves for a while – out to Navan this time. Crappy day, all things considered. I’m still not 100%.

In the evening, we got to take Ottawacker Jr. for his long-awaited and much-vaunted MRI at CHEO. It went well, and now we only have a week-and-a-half wait before the results reach the doctor.

While waiting, we had a lot of fun explaining to Ottawacker Jr. what the Extra meant. As you might imagine.
