Aftermath!

Magic Weekend Day One.

The journey was smooth. Brian decided that he didn't need the sat nav to find Elland Road. But then he took a wrong exit and the journey became less than smooth. A bit of aimlessness ensued until I opened Google maps on my phone to help navigate.

We watched and enjoyed all three games.

First was London Broncos v Hull FC, which was entertaining. We cheered on underdogs London, and they beat Hull for the second time this season. They celebrate every win like they've won a trophy.

Our game was next, against our biggest local rivals, St Helens. I'd been slightly concerned, since we were under-strength due to injuries and suspensions. We brought some youngsters in who did really well. Young Jack Farrimond bagged himself a try and a second man of the match award, and we won 20-0!

As soon as our game finished, the sprinklers popped up out of the grass and started spraying water. Some of the players deliberately walked through the spray, others avoided it!

Last game was Leeds v Warrington. Leeds kicked our backsides last week, but we would have beaten them if they'd played like they did today! I'd hoped they would beat Warrington, but they got thrashed unfortunately.

That was it until tomorrow. Bri used the Sat nav and got us to Grace's with no problem. We are having a drink with her now, before going to bed!
