Cow Pasture

Merlin had an early morning appointment at the vet for his booster injection so afterwards we went to Prinsted to walk next to sea. It was a calm and sunny morning so it was a beautiful walk. These cows were appeared to be cooling off by wading through water in the reed beds which lie in the fields just beyond the shoreline.

Later I made more courgette chutney and prepared the ingredients for cucumber relish.

Grateful:
- That Merlin got on well at the vet this morning. He was seen by his favourite vet who has known him since he was eight weeks old.
- To enjoy the calm of an early Saturday morning in summer, walking at Prinsted. It felt idyllic.
- To enjoy a restful hour in the garden this afternoon, just sitting and reading.
