Drying

Bunches of Helichrysum (straw flowers) hung up to dry in our potting shed. Today I've embarked on the first stage of restoring the small wildflower meadow that we inherited but which has become overgrown with grasses. I've strimmed the whole thing and will now leave it a week or so for the flower seeds to drop before raking, cutting, scarifying and re-seeding with lots of yellow rattle.
