Friday: Drinks Specials

For a while, some of the team have been asking to have a night out with us, or what they call a ‘drink-up’.  So this evening we headed to ‘Double O’ for drinks with a few colleagues.

Ashanti, Rhonda, Chippy and Lee were all there, and we were later joined by Chippy and Lee’s new girlfriends.  The beer selection was negligible so K and I had a range of garishly coloured sweet cocktails.  

We stayed for a few hours.  It was a really nice evening and fortunately we missed the drama of Chippy’s lost car keys.  So many people had been in and out of that car all evening it’s hardly surprising they were lost. And quite why Lee thought we would have them when he called us at 11pm is a bit of a mystery.

It wouldn’t be a local night out if there wasn’t some kind of twist.
