Saturday: Reconnecting

It’s been a week of reconnecting with friends.  Today I met my old friend, Mary, for lunch in Soho.  She’s from New York and we met when she was working in London many years ago.  She’s been back in the US for many years now, living near Buffalo.  We last saw each other in Napa in 2019 so it was lovely to be able to get together after all that time.

I’m doubly glad that it worked out as we had to cancel a get-together a few months ago when she was in London but now she is back from an unexpected return trip.
