Stranded

Daughter K & family were due home from Madeira yesterday but all flights were cancelled due to high winds. They were put up in a hotel last night & this is the view from the room they were given at 12.30am.
They flew out this afternoon & are home safely now.
I spent today in the garden cutting back the rambling rose & dead heading the cosmos, etc.
C & I visited Mum this afternoon, she kept asking where her Mother was.
