Best of the Day

The first part of the day was the only time when the weather was benign.  I was due to play golf at 3:00 pm and from early morning onwards the conditions kept deteriorating,  You can only imagine the frustration when the rain started to fall just as we walked on to the first tee.  It didn't stop for a moment over the next 2 hours, by which time we had decided that we were going to abandon after 9 holes.

So frustrating when you consider that the rest of the week has been predominantly dry and sunny.
