BBQ in the rain

A lovely walk in Anagach woods at Granton on Spey before lunch where I managed to pick some wild blueberries aka blae or bil berries here in Scotland. I’ll try to make some pancakes with them in the morning..

Spotted these wee bluebells on the early morning dog walk and thought they made a nice shot. Thanks to BikerBear for hosting FlowerFriday.

After our walk it was a bit of a rush to get things prepped for the BBQ but I managed. Mr PHL collected my brother and his partner from the train station as they came down from Inverness for the afternoon. My friends Linda and Paul came over from their holiday home in Boat of Garten with their lovely dog Ollie and we had a lovely afternoon chatting. Just a pity the weather wasn’t as nice as we’d hoped as we had to sit in the awning instead of outside.

A few leftovers now safely in the fridge. They all left just after 7 and it’s been quite pleasant to relax for an hour or two after finishing the tidying up.
