Captain Serene
We walked up to How Hill and back this morning, omitting the extension south to the ruins of St Benet's Abbey as it seemed better for our springer to do that section this evening when it was cooler. Now have a lot of photos to sort, including drainage windpumps, horses on the marshes, dragonflies and plants in the How Hill woodland & garden, plus St Benet's! So - a quick Blip - maybe street photography genre but on the River Ant - a passing motor cruiser with very serene dog surveying the scenery.
(Maybe caught my eye as we've only taken our springer on a boat once - a friend's narrowboat on a canal - & he was certainly not calm & serene - but then the clangs and scrapes when going through the locks are on a par with fireworks to sensitive ears I imagine!)
