Some times it is the simple things that drive you up the wall ...... like trying to make spinning tops.
They were spinning everywhere.
Unfortunately it was during the making process.
I eventually managed to get two made.
Well - at least it killed time.

I dug out a nice wee pot/bowl, wrapped it up and SWMBO and I went and delivered it to an old friend of ours.
I can say that without getting slapped - she has hit her 7th decade.
We haven't seen her or her husband for some time. We would love to see them more often, but it can cause problems and upset. A number of years ago he collapsed and basically died. She managed to revive him but he now has brain damage with very little memory. However, when we see him he sometimes has flashes of memory of us but not enough to make any sense which upsets him and that upset can last for some time because he knows that there must be more but he just can't bring it back ... which compounds the problem. That in turn upsets me because my father had Dementia and I was the first person he forgot despite looking just like him.
