Beehave

I had been thinking about getting back into blipping for a little while, but the general pace of life combined with my natural laziness and apathy in-between times had pretty much put paid to the idea.

But recently it bubbled back up again and on a random flicking through of the blip app, there was a lovely few words from one Pedros who shall remain nameless, which tipped me back over the edge and thus I found myself flipping the laptop open and scrolling through my phone for a useable image.

Finding none, I promptly headed out for an evening walk - the raining drizzly awfulness of the am now giving way to a beautiful sunny pm - and found some bees doing their thing on and to a thistly flower.

There’s been quite a lot going on (company I work for has been acquired, been fishing a fair bit lately, played golf with my dad, m’boy got hives after a game of hide n seek, went to The Hundred at the weekend, met The Eldest’s boyfriend (nice chap), m’boy got a haircut, The Youngest is continuing on her path to become a supervillain etc.) which I won’t bore you with anymore than I already have, but I have missed the discipline of writing and having one eye out for that day’s photo.

We’ll see how long I can keep it up for (stop it) this time out and go from there really.
