The Butterfly Effect

It is well known that butterflies control the entire planet's weather system... an errant flap of the wings in one part of the world and a hurricane rips through another... Closer to home, this one has been quite happily flitting from grass to flower to leaf... and now it's widdling down!

Of course, the concrete went down for the extension base a few hours ago, and since concrete cures under a chemical process it will harden even when wet. However, we may have a shallow swimming pool by tomorrow...

I had a bit of a midnight moment last night, when I woke up thinking the bricks that had been delivered were the wrong colour! The bricks the house was built from in 2000 are no longer made, and the replacements are indeed the right colour but were covered in, um, brick dust. Well that's sorted!
