Kurpark
The title of this blip is a very German thing - a „Kurpark“ is a park in a spa town, and it’s usually furnished with plenty of benches, some water features, chess tables, and often a bandstand or bandshell for concerts. This is one corner of the Kurpark in Schlangenbad, a little spa in the Taunus hills, close to my mother’s home. I went there for a haircut today, before delivering some groceries to my mother and her carers, and staying there for lunch, of course.
The comfy bench in the park didn’t get much use today, because it was way too hot in the sunshine. But we are looking forward to the weekend, when it’s supposed to get cooler at last.
