Home from abroad

Rory is back from filming Death in Paradise in Guadaloupe sporting piratical locks and a good tan.  I should have moved this picture a bit to the right to get full benefit of the painting of the ship on the wall of Soho House but as you’re not allowed to take photos in there it was a bit snatched.  

Rain first thing which meant I didn’t have to water the dahlias but then it was dry and warm but not particularly sunny.  

I got a fairly late train to London, dropped off a bag to be mended and then went to the office for a big meeting and a zoom interview with Network Rail’s PR to talk about filming on the railways. Nick our writer was on it and told some deliciously funny stories, which I hope he’ll recycle when we’re on panels.

Then went over to see Rory and managed a 9pm train home. Glad to get to bed.
