Country roads…

So sad to leave our little Welsh bolt hole this morning. We’ve had such a lovely time here.

As we drove down the lane from the cottage I felt we should be heading for the little art gallery in Llanbedrog or to Abersoch for lunch, but nope it was homeward bound, where Alan and Lola awaited us and that thought cheered me up :-))

Weather so much better today and we made good time, stopping at Chester services for lunch then again at Rheged for coffee and a scone.

A lovely warm welcome from both Lola and Alan. Lola was particularly affectionate :-)) it’s Alan’s birthday tomorrow but he’s insisting it’s another day!! lol

Dinner and unpacking done then giddy with excitement at having WiFi, I planned to get photos uploaded and reply to messages. Instead I dozed off. Oh well, there’s always tomorrow :-))
