A Happy Afternoon

Spent with one of Mr HB's oldest friends (not in age!)  Another drive up the dreaded A12 but which wasn't as bad as on Monday.  We had a lovely lunch with S in her beautiful garden and there wasn't a gap in the conversation, so many shared memories to cover.  Bet the two of them have sore throats tomorrow!

Weather pleasant today, about 25 degrees, but still very humid. Whilst dinner's cooking we're having a few games of Badminton, but it won't be anything like as energetic as the young last evening!

We heard the owls again last night, but have yet to see them.
