The Gathering.

Mr HB's daughter came to pick us up this morning and took us for a very nice lunch in Manningtree. Later we walked along by the River Stour  the tide was coming in and we saw  many gulls, Canada Geese, a couple of Swans and a lone Corvid enjoying the tidal rush, then we sat on a bench in the shade with ice creams and just enjoyed the view.

In the evening we were joined at our campsite by the rest of Mr HB's eldest daughter's family.  Fish & Chips were brought in, enjoyed and then the Badminton net went up and serious contests ensued until the fading light and a few  raindrops declared a halt to the proceedings.

Weather still hot but not as unbearable as yesterday.  Off to bed now and hope the Owls will be out hunting again.
