Rainy Day!

We were woken in the middle of the night by the loudest bang of thunder we can remember! It was a veritable explosion that lifted us both horizontally off our bed! Rain battered down and there was no sunrise visible behind the overcast skies when 7am rolled around.

The day cleared a little, later, and we went into town to the Sala Casadrigas to see this house built for a Barcelona textile-rich family which is now a local authority exhibition space. A fine building but in need a bit of imagination on the exhibition side of things!

A fine lunch in Cal Tony with clams and pan con tomate.

Later, the heavens broke, again, and we enjoyed a bit of Scottish summer here on the Costa Brava!
