A rainbow

I went to the potluck picnic with the social group tonight. Fortunately we had finished eating before the rain started. Everyone was sitting around talking when we felt the first raindrop. Looked up and there was a black cloud above us. It didn't take long for people to pack up and leave. By the time I got back to Dartmouth, there was no rain here.
I spotted the butterfly on the echinacea this afternoon and had planned to use it as my blip today. It became an extra.
I am starting to realize how much I have been missing the social interactions that I now have with the travel/social group. I know that I have the brunch group, but it is the same people every week, and they don't want to do anything other than go to brunch or supper. I am really enjoying this new group because I just have to show up at events, I don't have to be the one that plans everything. And the others that are going are friendly. Tonight I sat beside a few of the newer members, 2 of them have been coming out for about a month and the other one has just joined recently.
