Kilchurn Castle

We left our campsite in the morning just as the rain started and the thunder was rumbling. Further down the road we witnessed quite a display of forked lightning but we were fortunate to avoid the extremely heavy rain that was forecast. As we headed west the weather improved and by the time we arrived in Oban it was a beautifully sunny afternoon.
On the way to Oban we stopped off at Kilchurn Castle beside Loch Awe where I took this photograph.
