On Guard

Today we went to the local Marwell Zoo with  members of Winchester  GoLD (learning disabilities group). We were a big group of 32 Members, plus nearly as many  staff, support workers, and volunteers. It's always a popular trip, and the weather was perfect for us today. 
It also gave me a  chance to try out the new camera we bought last week. Meerkats  make perfect, and very obliging subjects, don't they? They were revelling in the  sunshine, but someone  always has to keep  guard. (Do they take turns?)
Other favourites with our group  were the  Snow Leopards,  Pygmy Hippos and  Red River  Hogs,  (and the ice -cream kiosk!).
