We had a super day out at the Simonside Fayre. There were all sorts of things going on, with showing classes for terriers and gun dogs, archery, clay pigeon shooting, Cumberland wrestling, tug of war etc and lots of children's races.
I loved the crafts stalls, the willow weaving was beautiful. The vintage engines, tractors and farm machinery were great too, but the falconry display was fascinating. This beautiful owl, Louis, was the highlight of my day!
