This year see's the 75 anniversary of LNER A4 Mallard breaking the world speed record for a steam loco and to commemorate National Railway Museum has brought together all the remaining A4s under one roof in York - Mallard, Dwight D Eisenhower, Dominion of Canada,Sir Nigel Greseley. Bittern and Union of South Africa. Only the latter three still run, Dwight D Eisenhower, Dominion of Canada have been repatriated from North America had a paint job and undergone cosmetic repairs. Loads of people made it difficult to get a good image of all six you can see them all until 17/7. Then all together again later this year at York and finally at Locomotion at Shildon Co Durham in Feb 2014. It is likely they will never be altogether again.
