Last Visit To Pittenweem.

It would take a very determined visitor to visit all of the artist venues during the Pittenweem Arts Festival.

We did not even attempt the task. Today found us down in the Harbour near to ‘The Giles’.

Entering  the ‘Old Men’s Club’. (Through the Green Door) We visited ‘Joint’ an innovative exhibition by David Mach and his brother Robert Mache. David is an internationally celebrated artist and Royal Academecian’ Robert is known for his use of colourful foil wrappers to create intricate arts that reference icons of art history.

A lavish beautifully illustrated book was on sale which did justice to the work. The books weighs about a kilogram. It was on sale for £10 although the normal price is £64.

Of course we bought a copy. Apparently according to the guide at the venue David may have some explaining to do to his Agent!

We also visited quite a number of other artists and examined many interesting works of art in many forms.

Pizza and Red Wine for supper back home.
