Lunch At Balgove Steakbarn

A day  without visiting the Pittenweem Arts Festival.

Donald Heggie had invited us to lunch and we settled upon the Balgove Steak Barn at Strathtyrum very close to St Andrews.

The food is always superb and the atmosphere is unique. The serving staff are always very friendly and efficient. The majority are St Andrews University Students.

Afterwards we returned to Donald’s home for a ‘blether’ and some more ‘libations’. Donald always arranges for us to be chauffeured from our home and then chauffered back home.

He has very obliging daughters who provide this 5 star service.
