Moonlight over Aberdaron Beach…

Today has been very hot! Not complaining. Ok, well only a little bit ;-))

D spent some time at the driving range and I painted. Well just faffed really but it was relaxing and I enjoyed it.

Peace was shattered mid afternoon with the arrival of Withers and her better half Jim, who have travelled all the way from Stratford upon Avon so D & J can play golf at two rather lovely golf courses. Had to book months in advance!

Non-golfing plans were made by Withers and me and tomorrow involves a get together with more blippers and I cannot wait to meet them :-))

They headed off to get checked into their Hotel at Aberdaron and D and I read our books for a while (and maybe had a wee late afternoon siesta :-) before freshening up and heading off to Aberdaron to meet up with J&J for dinner.

We were all impressed not just by the quality of the food but by the very efficient and friendly service. If you’re ever looking for a good hotel on the Llyn peninsula then the Ship Hotel in Aberdaron would be a good place to start.

Meal over and tiredness creeping in we bid J&J goodnight and stepped out into the warm evening. Still 23.5 degrees at 10pm! Continental evening temperatures!
