Sea swim

Short cycle ride to Wardie Bay first thing, an hour or so after high tide. The breakwater shelters the bay from the West wind, which wasn't nearly so strong as yesterday. 
Calm water. Swam for longer than last week . Talked to someone just back from a sea swimming holiday in Finland, who was about to swim 5k 'wall to wall to wall to wall' back and forth across the bay. She was kitted out in a full neoprene suit .. 

Out again later to the Stockbridge farmers market; found new potatoes, plums, and chard; also bread, French cheese and venison from Ridley's. 21C high and some pleasant sunshine during the day.
