Busy Buddleia Bee

Continuing the theme of flowers that remember relationships, this buddleia was planted in our garden many years ago, to welcome us back from Brazil, by American friends from Lesotho days, who happened to be living in Brum at the time. We visited them several years later in their new home in Colorado Springs - our youngest crawled through their dog flap, wearing only a nappy, into several inches of snow.

It was so hot this afternoon, it was actually unpleasant walking to the shops for groceries.
