Early morning walk for both of us, then breakfast in hotel with sea view at our favourite table.

Some holiday reading and our daily word puzzles. Wordle in two!

We’d booked a table at Cal Tony’s for lunch. We got a nice table on the terrace and shared a salad and some garlicky grilled prawns. Then we had our first ice-cream of the holiday - an almond Magnum for me and an ‘ice-cream biscuit’ for Bb.

Back to the hotel and some more reading. I finished Yellowface. I enjoyed it, but I wasn’t bothered when I’d finished it. I haven’t decided on the next book yet.

A wee walk at night and a drink at The Shack. Didn’t need anything to eat. Asleep by 10.

Here’s Bb in Cal Tony’s. Our first Sunday lunch here two years ago, after an overnight stay, was what sparked our new connection with Blanes. We camped here 33 years ago for a weekend in October, a few months after arriving in Barcelona.
