Village Olympics [sign 3a]

Village fete today which evolved from the days when we had a village school and sports day held at the hall.

The King really enjoyed himself on welly-wanging, hook a duck, kids golf, lob a ball into a bucket (see e) and archery (twice!). He was also awarded a rosette from his age group race. 

Piano Recital - Family Friend
Went to watch a former peer of our son who is aiming to become a concert pianist play at the main church in Newark. He's enjoying exploring more jazz style classical pieces and included this as his last two recital pieces. Very much to my taste and to me his best performance yet and worthy of a standing ovation from a few of us.
