Parched

A picture taken in Aberdeen's much maligned Union Terrace Gardens. An unusual sight is that the grass is looking a bit parched where it is out of range of the sprinklers. These were in action over the flower bed when I took this photograph. A close inspection will show I made a fairly lazy attempt to remove the hose pipe. In effect a Lightroom hose pipe ban!

By the time I got here I had walked from the west end of Aberdeen, and was feeling fairly parched myself. A glass of water and a fruit tart in John Lewis were required to raise my spirits for the return journey. A journey which I have to confess I made by bus.
