Sunday morning the skies were grey and the temperature was 79 and going down - that is a beautiful sight in Texas in July :0)

A drizzly rain began mid-morning and continued ALL day!!

If there is a perfect weekend for the air con to be broken, this is definitely it.

You would have thought such a long rain would have yielded a good few inches and maybe even affected the ever decreasing lake levels, but according to the weather man we only picked up .3 of an inch so it's hardly going to keep us out of the upcoming stage 4 restrictions. But my garden certainly enjoyed it's little respite from the burning dry conditions.
