Seed Detail

The signs of Autumn are everywhere, these seed heads were popping open in front of a field of ripe barley.

B and I did the Bayfield Walk this afternoon.  Some of the walk is under trees so is a little sheltered from the sun.  However, it was still fairly hot so we had no choice but to cool off with one of Ronaldo's finest gooseberry ice creams at the Natural Surroundings cafe en-route.
