A Cosmos.

I didn't go to buy our newspapers at the usual time, because it was raining and there was a strong gusty wind. That powerful wind, had not done damage to our garden thankfully, yet one flowerpot of nasturtiums was knocked down. I found a snail nearby. I placed it in the geraniums at the far end of the garden. I am not keen on killing anything nor am I happy to see plants been chomped on. It is a difficult part of gardening. Some kind people create a place for the slugs and snails but I haven't done that as such. The wild geraniums have many leaves and one snail would not be able to eat many leaves, or so I think in my ignorance.

I have done vacuuming and washing.

The cats are happy and eating like they are having a growth spurt.

Hunter, bless him, is more energetic when there is powerful wind and he runs fast. I think he seems joyful.

By the afternoon, Paul and me went to collect his prescription and it was not raining then, but it was gusty and close. 22.2c. I wore too many layers, trying to be prepared for a sudden possible rain shower or sudden cold. Carrying an umbrella was pointless in that wind.

I am crocheting and happy to be indoors. godtv is on. Later we hope to watch Escape to the Country.
