How it ends

Not a great photo of our online editor Ben popping the cork of the champagne on the last run through of the international version.  Commonly called the ‘eyeball’ viewing we did find one mistake that needed an immediate and luckily quick-to-do fix. And then it was champagne, chocolate cake for Miro, whose birthday it was and relief all round.  And then Jonathan, our producer and I went out to Noble Rot Soho for a slap up lunch to celebrate.  Yes, on top of chocolate cake.  

We caught the train home together as drizzle turned to heavy rain and I drifted through the evening feeling exhausted!
