The weather was rubbish when we got up and we sat around for a while wondering what to do. Neither of us wanted to wander around in the rain and the prospect of sitting in the house wasn’t very appealing so we took the decision to pack up and come home. We made a quick diversion into the town where I nipped to Nicky’s Bakery and bought 8 pasties to bring home. It was a long journey and slow in places but we got back at around 7.30.
The children had obviously had a quick tidy up and everything seemed in order which was a relief.
