Old station building
Lunchtime swim following a morning of chores. It was a bit choppy, so, equipped with goggles, we swam into the wind first and made it to a blue bouy. Then turned for the return, against the tide for a lovely swim back, negotiating bouy ropes, which M was not keen on ... but we made it.
I popped to a shop to snap a blip along Station Road and remembered this beautiful old station building, no longer in use as a station and hidden behind impressive gates. Nevertheless it is good to see it used for something.
Later we ran hill efforts with Soul Runners. There was a Do on at the Masonic Hall, so more cars than usual. I am convinced that running up on the pavement is more of an effort, but can't fathom why. Also Cromwell Hill seems to be getting steeper as I age ...
