Wrabness
Spent a lovely day in Wrabness with B, walking round the wildlife reserve and to see Grayson Perry's house as well as some en-plenair of the view across the Stour from my Dad's bench. A promising butterfly count in the reserve, as there were 5 varieties and this compared well with last year.
On route home we visited Mistley for a lovely lunch in an upstairs converted barn, with an awesome view across the Stour. We briefly wandered round the town and decided that Mistley and Manningtree are places to return to.
After a weight training session with Gig Rowers, I spent an exciting evening catching up on today's Olympics; first the relay Tri from this morning then Keeley Hodgkinson winning Gold in the 800m. Both races caused my blood pressure to rise - thrilling.
