Vital part

I didn't get around to blipping yesterday, and I can't even remember why!

It was well-paced at work, so I reckoned I should take advantage of it and took the afternoon off. There is a team lunch planned for tomorrow, and the head of the department has said we don't need to go back to work once it's over.

It was great to have a siesta after ages, and then I tackled some personal admin, working at G's desk. :)) I got to chat with her again. It took a while to get past the technical challenges of VoIP, but we persevered. It sounds like the weather is perfect at the moment. Not surprisingly, the civil unrest/riots are getting her down. Much of the evening was spent researching "bring on" sites for the Lodge and Paris 2024 souvenir t-shirts!

My blip is part of the lift mechanism as I walked into the building. It was screeching on Saturday, and I was glad it got me and my trolley up one floor without breaking down. I noticed it was noticeably quiet on Sunday. I guess it had to be decommissioned for safety reasons.
