Jungle

The constant heat and frequent rain of this summer acts like a fertilizer for all the plants in our garden.

I'm way behind with weeding, pruning and mowing, so the garden is now turning into a jungle (including the mosquitoes, thanks to a neighbour's pond). This is the grapevine growing just outside the window. I could swear this vine wasn't even there yesterday.

Of course it rained today, too, and the world feels like a steam bath.
