Quick shuffle round to Broughton Market first thing. Then out to St Marys for the second of John Bryden's piano recitals.

The Lizt was excellent, the Brahms beautiful, and the Percy Grainger made people grin and tap their feet ..

I was earlier this time, and had a seat behind the pianist's right shoulder, so I could read his sheet music; for some of the material he was playing from memory. Talked to a couple visiting from Johannesburg, then later over tea, to the same person I met yesterday.  St Mary's from the East side in extra.

From there, prompted by @ridgeback13 's blip, I went to the West End craft fair. There was one stall with small wood pieces, but no good bowls. Admired Jennie Loudon's dolls and the book boxes in which they are stored; mostly made from reused scraps. Better in large ..

Out again in the afternoon by the Trinity path to the shore. Tide high. Back on the no 23 bus after watching the bowling at the Trinity green.
