Weird day.  Ben at respite and us having holiday fun, I struggled a little bit, with all sorts of stuff that I thought I'd made peace with, in terms of guilt and regret and worry.. gah.  We started the day early (as usual!) so by 9:30am Mr KCNQ2Haiku had embarked on a mega bike ride and I had showered, had breakfast, walked Leo, made flapjack, done my physio exercises, been to the local shop for pie (obviously!), read some of my book and was wondering what people do with the rest of their days!  I did find more to do in the end, I built some flatpack furniture and we found this lovely bridge with a riverside walk that was stunning, followed by some shopping in a local town and a pint in a pub.  Still pre-occupied and fretting in some ways but updates from Ben's carers have helped.  He's been playing in the garden, drawing, walking to shops, mooching in B&Q, playing in the park and swinging.. all with photo evidence, so I think we're winning.
