Young Fisherman at Greenwood Furnace

It was going to be a hot day, and my husband and I decided it was time for a cool swim, so we headed to Greenwood Furnace State Park, which is the ultimate late-summer cool swimming hole. And indeed, we found the water even chillier than the last time we were there. Go figure!

I saw a young fisherman setting up by the spillway, and I took a few shots. The water was dark and dappled with reflections of green. The scene looked quiet and peaceful, you might even say idyllic. So here is my shot of the young fisherman amid the verdant reflections of a late summer day.
