Swimming at the shore

Cycle ride first thing; took the Trek to Wardie Bay with the plan to try swimming there. Not far from low tide. Had a 'occasional jellyfish, water clear enough to see them' report from people coming out.  Waded in, swam for a bit; there was no one else in just then, so I didn't stay long. Very calm, no wave movement and no perceptible current. It took longer to get clothes on again than expected ..

Listened to a Proms concert from the Albert Hall on Radio 3. Out again in the afternoon to Victoria Park; found the tea van open. Back by the Water of Leith and St Mark's Park. A wagtail at the lower weir, and a heron fishing at Warriston.  Spits of rain coming on as we got in, and heavier rain in the evening.
