Bottlenose Dolphin

Drove out to Fortrose this morning to see the bottlenose dolphins at Chanonry Point.  This is a sandy spit of land that sticks out into the Cromarty Firth, the incoming tide swirls round it and it is a favourite spot for dolphins to gather to catch salmon.  The dolphins like to play in the shallows, sometimes only 50 metres away from the shore.
