Famous phone box

A trip to Pennan, to visit possibly the most famous telephone box in Scotland, used in the 1983 film Local Hero. The box was saved from removal in 2021. The village is delightful, crammed into a narrow strip of land at the foot of steep cliffs. The cottages are beautifully preserved, many with brightly coloured detail on mostly white structures.
